THE DISTRICT: San Salvario

Quartiere San Salvario - ANSELMO Erasroom

San Salvario is one of the neighborhoods most loved by those who come to live in Turin, it almost looks like a village within the city. Enclosed between the Porta Nuova station and the Valentino Park, the narrow streets of San Salvario and the beating heart of Largo Saluzzo offer all the services and a lively nightlife. It is a lovable, multi-ethnic neighborhood that can also offer cultural opportunities, such as the Valentino Castle (UNESCO heritage and seat of the Faculty of Architecture), the characteristic Borgo with the Medieval Fortress and the curious Cesare Lombroso Criminal Anthropology Museum. The Parco del Valentino is the favorite green lung of the Turinese and is dotted with historic rowing companies.
The universities are easily reachable on foot or with a few stops on public transport.
